Jumping Machine

So with such a hyperactive child I knew I needed a Jolly Jumper. Much to my delight Hank went hometeaching the other night and came home with one for free! The next morning I stuck Blakely in and after a little hesitation she is a jumping machine. She still is quite little so she more just bounces but I am excited about the entertainment value it gives her so that I can get a few things done!
How cute is my little Jumping Machine in Action!

In other news...Blakely got her first tooth. A couple of weeks ago I could have sworn she was teething. She was sucking on everything and covered in drool 24/7, but I thought she was way too young for that. Then I reached in her mouth the other morning and a tooth had broken through, I don't know if more are on their way but she definitely leeks like a faucet, which is evident in these photos.
I NEED ADVICE:
I am exhausted, sleeping at this house over the last couple weeks has been non existent and it is starting to get to me. I thought it would pass but my poor baby gets really bad stomach aches in the night and is now crying out every hour in pain. She has to be calmed down, get a few toots out and then she goes back to sleep but it is keeping me up all night and I am dying. Any advice for stomach aches like this and what could cause them? I can feel her little tummy rumbling!

Hey Em, Hailey had really bad stomach pains when she was little too. I used to pump her legs like crazy. It's really funny to think back on now, but I was totally exhausted and frustrated at the time with it. Infant Mylicon saved me. It really helps calm their stomachs down. You may already know about it and use it, but if not it worked really well for me. You can find it at any store with a pharmacy. It's usually in the baby section at Walmart and Target. Hope that helps!

Blakely looks like such a big girl in the jolly jumper!!! I'm so sorry you're not getting any sleep! Sleep deprivation has been used as a form of torture in the past...it makes you crazy, hey?? As for the stomach aches, I would highly recommend Ovol and bicycling her legs. It's only sold in Canada, and my sister had me ship some to her in NC because she couldn't find anything else in the states that works as good. GOOD LUCK!!

I don't know how to cure stomach aches. I'm sorry you're so sleep deprived!! I think that's one of the hardest things about motherhood. And I can't believe she already has a tooth! Harrison just got his first one at 10 months (he's my latest teether...my first baby got his first at 4 months!) But once they start teething it seems like the teeth just keep coming. Hang in there!!

Hey Em, I agree with the leg "pumping" we call it running at our house. Also there is this homeopathic stuff called gripe water or colic ease. It is totally safe and helps with gas, stomach problems, reflux, hiccups, etc. We used it more than daily with Jude. It felt like it really helped. Also are you still nursing? Any chocolate, tomatoes, broccoli, or onions in your diet? I know it stinks; with Jude I got so desperate I was only eating the very mild basics. Good Luck. Talk to your doctor too, both of you need your sleep!

She is so freaking cute! I love her! I am sorry to hear what you have been going through. I remember those days with Jordan and I thought that I couldn't do it anymore. The miracle thing for me was http://www.herbsfirst.com/descriptionsformulas/kidecol.html it helped with colic, teething and gas. This stuff is amazing!
