CHINOOK WINDS
I LOVE the CHINOOK Winds. Today we had a high of 15 C. You fellow American's can do that conversion on your own. All I can say was that it was such a pleasant day Hank and I decided to take advantage and go for a walk along ELBOW RIVER! I love to try and look inside all the mansions that line the river trails. OH THE ENVY OF THEIR HOMES!

NOTHING BETTER TO TALK ABOUT...
So I figured it was time for blog update....the only problem, I have nothing to blog about! The ironic part is that when I had no LIFE (aka the last 4 months living in Calgary) I found plenty to blog about. Now I actually have a life running from one thing to the next and I seem to have nothing interesting to blog about. Therefore you get a Update full of the Nelson Family Random Happenings.
GOOD NEWS: I am working full time and I love my job, it is busy as all get out and I am constantly running between work and teaching classes at three different gyms but I actually enjoy what I do which makes it easier to have no free time.
BAD NEWS: The downside to this is that my time spent at home watching daytime television and taking advantage of my unlimited long distance has been almost completely eliminated, sorry if I don't call you anymore...too cheap!
GOOD NEWS: After Christmas we drove Hank's car up to Calgary for us to use, good thing because since then I have managed to almost die three times and total my car allowing me NOT to drive it. Hence the bad news below.
BAD NEWS: Hank and I have managed to rack up quite a debt in car repairs due to the large amounts of snow pile up in Calgary and no road plowing system!
GOOD NEWS: The bachelor has returned and I love that it is with single dad Jason. There is nothing like a sweet man who loves kids.
BAD NEWS: I don't have tivo! Enough said.
GOOD NEWS: Hank and I are loving Calgary and can't imagine ourselves anywhere else right now, we have great friends, great jobs, great church callings, and great weather NOT!
BAD NEWS: We can't decide whether to keep throwing our money away in rent each month, or invest in a house that we can use for the next couple years while on this journey (advice anyone)?
There you have it folks! Despite our busy schedules Hank and I do manage to spend some quality time together at night watching our favorite shows, yeah for American Idol!

THE 300 LB STOMPER
Dear Stomper:
I am sure that you are a very nice person, however, I have some questions and matters I would like to discuss with you...
1. Do you have a spy? How is it that no matter what time it is, if I have just crawled into bed and turned off the lights you decide that is the best time to come home and start the STOMP!
2. Why do you sound like you way 300lbs? I have passed by you on my way out the door and you look like you are quite fit, yet your steps sound as if you might brake through the floor at any minute. I would be glad to teach you how to walk lightly on your feet!
3. Where are you going? I know that your apt. is the same size as mine (500 sq. feet) so where possibly could you be pacing and running around to?
4. I very much appreciate the fact that you have a girlfriend (I think?) however when you two want to play tag and pillow fight on the bed at 1:00a.m. it makes me a little nervous. Her giggles and screams get me a little worried that pretty soon I might hear something I shouldn't.
5. Do you sleep? At first I thought you were a nightowl...until one morning at 6:00a.m. I was startled awake by the STOMPS. If you have insomnia or some sleep issues I might be able to work my connections to get you some meds, they could greatly benefit the both of us!
Stomper, thank you for taking the time to read my questions and concerns, I hope you will now realize how many sleepless nights and annoyed mornings I have endured on your behalf! If you need help in fixing any of these problems I will be at your service.
Sincerly,
Your downstairs neighbor...#201
