MEXICO

In March we took a much needed vacation!!!! Hank and I had not been on a real vacation since moving to Canada because we always spent all our vacation money and time coming home to visit family. While in Canada we always talked with our good friends the Dahls and Baldersons and said we will reunite on a tropical vacation every year. We dearly missed Michael and Amy but couldn't believe we actually pulled it off with the Dahls and were like kiddy school children when we met up with Simone and Mason at the Cancun Airport! As soon as we all piled in a cab headed to the ferry for Cozumel we knew our week long adventure was about to begin and boy did we have an adventure. The trip started off a little rough when on the ferry ride across the ocean Simone was puking her brains out, but from there on out it was one big party of relaxing fun. We really didn't have any agenda besides our ruins tour on our last day so we would just wake up and plan as we went which was perfect. It was the first time we had ever left Blakely but she stayed with my sister Whitney and their family and honestly I think she was sad when I came home because she had the time of her life.
So here is our Mexican Adventure through Pictures....lots of pictures!

Princess Explosion.....I mean Extravaganza

I figured I better blog about Blakely's second birthday before she has her third birthday. This year has gone by so fast, I can't believe that she will be 3 in 6 months.
As you very well know Blakely loves her princesses, I was suprised that even before she was 2 she was so into them, I thought that was 3-4 year old thing. So needless to say she had been set on having a princess party for a couple months before the day came and who was I to deny her of such. So we partied princess style and it was a hit. I went cheesy and even tried to go cheap....but let me just say that this party was adorable and well put together all thanks to my best friend Simone who was in town. Seriously I was naive and she helped me so much in making it perfect for our Miss B.

Pre Party Time

SNOW WHITE ARRIVES:
My cute cousin is a dead ringer for Snow White so she so graciously came and the kids went wild!!! They loved it so much. Snow White gave her a matching outfit and she wouldn't take it off.
