Ok people miracles do occur and look what miracle just occured at our house....enough hair for Pig Tails!

She didn't want her picture taken, but despite my grip no child was harmed in the documenting of this occasion!

Party Time!!!

I guess it is a little sad that my daughter's social agenda is more packed then mine, but I will take advantage because I get to enjoy all the fun as well. Saturday was a crazy but fun day. I started off my day bright and early at the hospital with my best friend Simone and her new baby boy Cruz. There is just nothing better than holding a newborn fresh from Heaven and I feel so blessed that I was able to experience this and be there for her and her new family of 4...ahh!

This was literally less than an hour after he was born, the fact that she looks this good is just unfair!

From there I picked up Blakely and we ran to the mall to do some errands and pick up some more birthday presents. We came home I changed and ran out the door to teach 2 Zumba classes in a row...EXHAUSTING. Then I ran home showered and we ran out the door to our Birthday Party Extravaganza. Blakely was invited to 2 birthday parties this past Saturday and she loved every second of it!



The first party was for my boss's little girl and was at GYMTASTICS, needless to say Miss B was in Heaven and loved it.

From there we rushed off to Chuck E Cheese for my cousin Melissa's step daughter Annaleen's birthday party. We feel so blessed to have so many friends and family that love us and invite us to such fun events. Naturally Miss B crashed as soon as we came home.

(Blogger is saying that I can't upload any pictures, that i have hit my quota...I have never gotten this before so I will try and upload pics from chuck e cheese later!)

Now that is what I call a good day!

Sunshine!

OH Sunshine, you tricked us. After a way too long dark cold winter you only came for a few days . You started to make us think that spring was on its way. Blakely once again remembered how much she loves being outside and took every opportunity to stomp in the mud puddles. We got hopes up that some day soon we could even possibly not wear a coat outside, of course it was all a tease because the forecast is prediciting snow for the next week. Oh well, we will take the sunshine we can get. And don't worry we took full advantage!

My Girly Girl

Since Blakely was itty bitty she would find bags and throw them over her shoulder like a purse and fill them with things. I was always like how do they even know to do that. I have now realized that purse usage is just engrained in us women.... So naturally, Miss B needed a purse to make it official! Hank picked this one up at the value village and to put it mildly she is in love!

Because of course you need your purse when you are about to eat....she wouldn't let me take it off her shoulder!

p.s. excuse the no pants it was the end of the day and that is how we roll. But you can take pride in the fact that she left her bow in all day, miracle!

Pillow Talk

This to me is the good stuff in life!

Saturday Miss B threw a full blown tantrum at the mall....the kind where I wanted to cry and was so embarassed.

Then at night when she has been sleeping for a couple hours I start to miss that wild child, I can't wait for tomorrow when she wakes up and more adventures begin!

Hit Me With Your Best Shot!

Lately I have been away teaching or doing trainings so Blakely has gotten a lot of daddy time. While I am away Hank likes to just sit there and shoot pictures of Blakely, and lets just say I come home and laugh hysterically, they are less than glamours! I don't know if it possible to get a good shot of her because she is so ALL OVER THE PLACE. I always ask him why couldn't you at least comb her hair or put on some decent clothes, but I guess it is good to capture the day to day life with a raggedy child left alone with her daddy!
