So my doctor got my blood results back and I guess it turns out that I am severely enemic. So in addition to the pre-natal vitamins I will be going on additional dosages of iron. I have heard iron pills can be hard on the stomach and I already have serious stomach issues, but I guess it will be worth it to avoid scary situations like yesterday!

Yikes. At least you know what the problem is I guess and it's easy enough to fix. I can't even take my prenatals because the iron in them makes me throw up, so I hope you can keep your supplements down!!!!!
I heard leaving them out all day exposed to the sir helps with the ability to keep them down, then take them just before bed, so stomach issues are reduced.
Thats what I heard, I stopped taking mine because I couldn't keep them down so...I don't know. Good Luck
Scary Emily! and just a little embarassing. Unless the EMT's were hot and then it was brilliant! ;-)
Of course, I am kidding.
Glad everything is ok and good luck with the pills.
Was there ever a second confirmation on your baby being a girl??
That is not fun. I remember getting severely light headed when I worked at Gold's tanning and I felt like I was gonna pass out. Sometimes I could hardly see. I do not miss that part of pregnancy. I am glad you can take iron pills. My mom had the same problem and had to eat liver. YUM!
Go buy a stool softener too!
