LITTLE HANK

Last weekend I had a great time with Hank's family, he was obviously away but I managed to hold down the fort for the Hank Nelson family. Hank's little sister Katrina was able to come down to our house and they had a great time going through some of their old pictures. Here are a few of the favorites!

LOVE SOUP

I AM DEFINATELY IN NEED OF SOME LOVE SOUP THIS WEEK! Hank left me this Valentines to go compete in a school competition in Florida. While I am glad that he is having a good time, I am also a little bitter that I am working hard, sleeping alone, spending Valentines by myself, and driving home for five hours in a major snow storm; all while he soaks in some Florida sun. Ok so bitterness aside, I am so proud of Hank he has worked so hard on this project and now he and Scott Wakefield are able to reep the benefits of their hard work in the sunshine. They did awesome in their competition and are having a blast with just the boys. They find out how they did tonight so I am sure we will have pictures and stories when they return. However, in the meantime I guess I will just have to be satisfied with my love soup! I hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day and were able to spend the day with the ones your love!

HANK THE TANK: WORLD'S BEST HUSBAND!

Well it is long overdue that I give my husband Hank the thanks that he deserves, but after they way he has taken care of me this week he derserves even more then a shout out he deserves a tribute. Hank is the sweetest, most caring, wonderful husband anyone could ever ask for. He not only works full-time but goes to school full-time and somehow during all of that finds time to take care of his constantly sickly wife. Now most of you know I catch everything, well this last week has been my last straw. I not only gave Hank my sickness but he gave it back to me and it is worse. Even though he has all that going on in his life when I walk in the door from work he is ready with meds to knock me out, at least three blankets (I'm always cold), and my pajamas so I can crash. He is the most supportive husband and I love him so much. I honestly don't know where I would be without him. I think everyone would agree that he touches every life he comes into contact with. He can make anyone smile, and has the ability to become lifelong friends with any stranger off the street. I want him to know how grateful I am for him and that I love him so much.

FOOTBALL MANIA

While the end of football is drawing near for most football fans it is just the beggining for me! Since i have not made a new blog for so long I thought that I would explain why. It is a little thing we like to call Football Mania. Althougth the superbowl is almost here AFL football is just around the corner and consuming my life. The Utah Blaze (my employer) is getting ready to start their 3rd season and things are crazy. I know it is a lame excuse but I hope you will all forgive me for not updating. Also Hank accidently gave my USB camera cord to his sister so I can't share all my cute christmas pics with you all. So be patient with me and in the meantime GO BLAZE!!!

We had a fun-filled action packed weekend as the whole Nelson clan (minus Duke) came into town for Max's wedding. There is never a dull moment with the Nelsons and we had a great time. Now we just need to find time to cooperate before christmas rolls around!!
